So I had an awesome week!

Here's the list:

So we went to walmart in pachuca today: I got gatorade powdered. About 5 more kinds of cereal, all sugar cereal, stuff to make trail mix, and I'm super excited for everything:)

So the wedding of one of our investigators fell so we didn't end up having the baptism:( we had everything ready, even used some contacts of opurs and got them everything free to get married, but the parents wouldn't sign and she is 17:(

Yazaira is getting baptized this week!

My comprehension has gone way up this week in the language! I started doing all of my studies in Spanish and that has helped immensely I'm thinkin!:):)

I bought some cranberry juice, never thought that day would come..

time is going by wicked fast!

So I haven't told you guys, but we hitch-hike a ton. like i would say over half the time. its gotten to the point that when we go to this one place its weird to take a bus...:)

we have an incredible leak in our kitchen! I mean like a gallon and a half an hour leak!

i love the plan of salvation! I realized that everybody needs to study it in depth, because once you do, you will realize the great and eternal blessings that come from keeping the commandments and covenants that you have made!!:)

well not too much happened this week, but those are the highlights:)

 soooo this week was also pretty good:)

here{s the jist of it:

We had hamburgers at a members house. they were dang good and I had like 4!!:)

me and my comp are going to hammock our beds. and by that I mean that we are buying hammocks and replacing our beds with those. boom.

we got a new investigator, well 4 this week, but 1 golden one. I mean she practically asked us to baptize her, and the spirit wasn't even like incredibly strong...awesome!!:) unfortunately she works every other sunday:( see how that goes...

oh so you know how I have 2 flat sheets? well pretty much every morning i wake up with half my body on just the mattress. stinks. weeeellll I fixed that:) my sheets are now tied to the frame of the bed:)

oh I feel like I finally am improving in the language! 

 What a great week of learning for me! Here's why:

So in my interview with the pres I learned a few things that should help me with learning the language.

We had exchanges with the zone leaders this week and I really learned a ton about how to be a better teacher. I am excited to apply what I learned:)

Oh and we had splits on Saturday all day with members from our ward. So I was basically the senior companion for the day. Boy did I learn. My companion didn't really say a single word and doesn't have a super strong testimony, so I pretty much did all the decisions and all the lessons. I learned that I can lead if I need to and that I am confident enough in the lessons to lead them:)

Oh and we had the baptism of Maurilio this week!!! It was awesome!!! So it was a  little sketchy because he didn't show up for his interview on thursday and so we had to do it right before his baptism, which was at 6, aaannnnddd he didn't show up until 6, but it all ended up awesome:) My comp baptized him with water and I confirmed him with fire on Sunday:) It was all such a cool experience and I cant wait to see it again:) He really made a lot of changes to his life and it was sweet to see that:)

My sewing skills are getting better, and they are going to have to get much better because I ripped a pair of pants with a literally head sized hole, really I tried and it was easy to put my head in it. So what happened was I was lifting weights more or less at a elders house aaaannnnddd I bent down juuust a little too far:) I'll send pics next week:)

I think one of the coolest things I learned is how to recognize Satan. Everything that is in anyway negative is Satan. So when something negative comes into mind, I just think, oohh that's just Satan, and I'm happy again:)

I want to name my boat Kabubi

 Weeelll this week was sweet:) Here are the highlights:

Conference was awesome! I got to watch the Priesthood session in English! MY favorite talk was elder uchtdorfs, and my favorite line was, Rise Up! Sometime we just have to rise up from our trials and let Satan stay behind as we grab the hand of Christ!!:)

Well I think word got around...haven't had chicharon in about 4 weeks:)

My favorite word in Spanish is guajolote (waholotay). It means tis certain type of Turkey,

Oh and I convinced one of the members of our ward that if I am here for my bday we can harvest a turkey and eat it for my bday:)

My comp is now the district leader.

We have an interview thing with the pres tomorrow! so siked!!:)

An elder from WA is in our mission! just got here and I haven't met him so I don't know where he is from yet...

Oh and Maurilio is going to be baptized this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday we were putting something away together and he told me how much he has learned and grown from me:) It was awesome:) <I love helping people find Christ:)

Oh and we have a date for Yazaira! November 2nd!

My favorite thing to drink is this banana milk and sugar smoothie thing:)

I eat coco puffs just about every morning.

I got attacked by a mother duck after picking up one of its ducklings! Later I found out that the same duck had killed a rooster for doing the same thing!

i will have been out 3 months on Thursday!

It has been really hot here for the past 2 weeks...

Pretty much everybody with money here has been to the states and returned...

My letters are sometimes random because on Sunday I just write down everything i can think of that happened in the week:) 

Oh and I got a MASSIVE spoon from some members today!!
